Construction Crew Leader

A Construction Crew Leader is tasked with overseeing a team of skilled workers, which includes delegating responsibilities and monitoring their performance to guarantee that tasks are executed safely and to the highest quality standards. This role requires proficiency in various civil construction activities such as site preparation, formwork, concrete placement, masonry, carpentry, drywall application and finishing, framing, as well as metal roofing and siding installation and maintenance, alongside operating heavy machinery.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Industrial Projects is essential (Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Heavy Industrial)
- Must adhere to company and site safety protocols.
- Capable of addressing on-site challenges or recognizing when communication is necessary to manage discrepancies.
- Support the General Foreman in all daily project requirements.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, sketches, and other specifications related to the construction project.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 is preferred.

- OSHA 10 or 30 Training is mandatory.
- Ability to read and interpret construction specifications.
- High School Diploma is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Foreman in industrial construction.
- Arrive at work punctually, consistently, and reliably, completing each shift.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and standards for the company and the job site.
- Understand and follow instructions from the direct supervisor.
- Ability to successfully meet DOE Background Requirements.

This position is typically performed in a clean and healthy environment. The job requires the ability to remain on one's feet for extended periods, move about on foot for long durations, remain seated for long periods, and/or climb stairs, stepladders, extension ladders, and scaffolding. The role also requires the capability to lift or lower objects weighing approximately 5-50 pounds, transport items up to 50 pounds over a distance of up to 10 yards, and exert varying amounts of force as necessary.
Must be able to operate a standard 1/2-ton pickup for occasional material and personnel transport and possess a valid, unrestricted motor vehicle operator's license issued by the state of residence, along with the manual dexterity required to operate a standard desktop computer keyboard.
