At Premier Steel Products LLC, we are seeking an experienced Precision Machining Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality precision parts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all machining operations are performed efficiently and effectively, with a strong focus on quality and safety.

  • Machining Operations
    • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations such as milling, turning, drilling, and grinding.
    • Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, or specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
  • Tooling and Maintenance
    • Select and install cutting tools, attachments, and accessories according to job requirements.
    • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime.
  • Quality Control
    • Inspect finished workpieces using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during machining processes.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Collaborate with team members and engineers to optimize machining processes and improve overall productivity.
