Position Overview:

We are looking for an Oracle Functional Developer to enhance a logistics system based on the Marine Corps Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). This system encompasses functionalities such as asset visibility, supply chain management, maintenance tracking, readiness assessment, task organization, repair management, request tracking, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will collaborate within an Agile development team to create Reports, Interfaces, Customizations, Extensions, Configurations, Personalizations, and Workflows (RICECPW) solutions. Responsibilities include developing, designing, configuring, testing, and documenting solutions aligned with requirements and user stories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct requirements analysis and functional design for RICECPW across various Oracle SCM modules, including CS, INV, IB, OM, WIP, BOM, and FND.
  • Support technical activities and adhere to processes consistent with an approved Agile methodology.
  • Document functional designs for RICECPW to facilitate communication with developers, ensuring compliance with program documentation standards and change management processes.
  • Review Change Requests and assist in gathering requirements.
  • Execute development and user acceptance testing according to test scripts, documenting results thoroughly.
  • Present RICECPW testing demonstrations to Product Owners and government Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Provide comprehensive deployment instructions for successful code migration and rollback.
  • Prepare design alternatives and specification documents.
  • Manage the analysis through design and development phases related to Oracle modules.
  • Update deliverables for the development team as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Oracle e-Business Suite R12 and Oracle databases.
  • Strong functional expertise in Oracle SCM, particularly in CS, INV, IB, OM, WIP, BOM, and FND modules.
  • Familiarity with Oracle e-Business technical tools, including PL/SQL, Reports, Forms, XML, SOA, BI Publisher, Alerts, and Workflow development.
  • Knowledge of Oracle EBS and/or SCM base tables.
  • Ability to perform impact analysis on Oracle product updates.
  • Expertise in designing interfaces and conversion routines.
  • Deliver solutions that meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team and provide 24/7 support as needed.
  • Adaptability to evolving business processes, technologies, and environments.

Security Clearance:

Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance at a minimum level of Secret.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience, along with 8+ years of experience in Oracle EBS Supply Chain Management modules R12/R11.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with Marine Corps or Department of Defense supply and maintenance processes.
  • Familiarity with OAS and Workflow.
  • Experience in APEX.
  • Agile methodology experience.
  • SOA/BPEL programming experience is a plus.
