About the Role

Gallagher is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Underwriting Associate to join our team. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will play a critical role in supporting our Client Consultants and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data to prepare reports and information needed for underwriting team members to demonstrate financial status for identified clients.
  • Assist in the creation and peer review of reports generated for client presentations.
  • Enter and review data regarding monthly, quarterly, and annual financial monitoring reports tracking expenses by product lines.
  • Communicate with and distribute information to account management regarding processes and data needed to effectively analyze client financial status.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, campaigns, communication materials, newsletters, etc. to internal staff and clients/prospects regarding underwriting policies and scope of services.
  • Participate in and help schedule regular underwriting team meetings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 0 years related experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Math or Finance degree preferred.
