Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a wide range of technical illustrations, including line drawings, exploded views, renderings, and 3D graphics, to ensure they are visually appealing and meet our branding standards.
  • Design and produce infographics and layouts that effectively communicate complex concepts and procedures to our customers.
  • Determine the style and format for illustrations used in installation guides, user manuals, websites, and packaging, ensuring consistency with our branding standards.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Resideo's product domain and stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  • Manage and implement illustration translations to ensure our products are accessible to a global audience.
  • Oversee the illustration review, approval, and source control process to ensure high-quality output.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in interactive media, graphic design, mechanical illustration, or a related field.
  • Experience with publishing content for print, online, and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in digital and print workflow, including typography, vector and raster graphics, and color management.
  • Mastery of Adobe products, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Experience with 3D modeling software, such as SolidWorks, Blender, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with mechanical design inputs in various formats, including STL or DWG.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with generative AI tools to enhance production capabilities.
  • Background in the HVAC, plumbing, or security systems industry.
  • Knowledge of Human-Centered Design and Design Thinking methodologies.
  • Multilingual skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a matrix organization.
