Key Responsibilities- Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in partnership taxation, including planning, research, compliance, and general mergers and acquisitions activities.
- Client Service: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and implementing tax strategies to drive business growth.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law, ensuring that the team is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills.
- Education: Bachelor's and Master's degree in Commerce or Accounts (B-Com/BBA & M-Com/MBA).
- Experience: At least 10+ years of experience in corporate federal tax compliance and tax consulting, with a focus on partnership taxation.
- Skills: Strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation, with experience in tax research tools and tax preparation technology.
- Certifications: Enrolled Agent (EA) is mandatory, and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.
- Business Development: Proven record of building profitable, sustainable client relationships, simultaneously managing multiple projects and engagement teams for various clients.
- Project Management: Strong project management and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
- Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance, with experience in dealing with international tax matters.
