Job Title: HVAC Teacher

Job Summary:

Eastern Westmoreland CTC is seeking a qualified HVAC Teacher to join our team. As an HVAC Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students the principles of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Responsibilities:

• Teach students the repair, installation, service, and maintenance of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Train students in the installation, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, and repair of mechanical piping systems.
• Instruct students in diagnostic techniques, blueprint reading, and the use of testing equipment.
• Teach students about electronic and pneumatic control systems, and the principles of electricity, electronics, and mechanics.
• Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years (8,000 hours/full-time) of industry-related experience.
• Experience with the repair, installation, service, and maintenance of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical piping systems, diagnostic techniques, blueprint reading, and the use of testing equipment.
• Ability to teach students with varying skill levels and learning styles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
