Job Summary

As a key member of our manufacturing operations team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and coordinating the implementation of process and equipment improvements to drive cost reductions, quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of new processes and automation projects to the manufacturing floor, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to production.
  • Drive specific technical or capital improvement projects (CIPs) in assembly, packaging, or other engineering disciplines, focusing on process optimization and efficiency gains.
  • Coordinate, communicate, and complete assigned projects on time and in scope, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Specify and/or purchase equipment, tooling, and fixtures for process changes, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Define project budgets, create purchase orders, and propose CIPs, demonstrating strong financial acumen and project management skills.
  • Install and validate new equipment, tooling, and fixtures for existing manufacturing process changes or replication, ensuring accurate documentation and training.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete assigned projects, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects, driving innovation and process excellence throughout the organization.
  • Support the implementation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) strategy, ensuring optimal equipment utilization and efficiency.
  • Participate in assigned career development training programs, enhancing technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in various engineering fields relating to mechanical design, manufacturing, and process development.
  • 3+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • BS degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Visio, Microsoft Office, and MS Project, with experience in AutoCad or ProE.
  • Strong technical report writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Travel required, up to 25% of the time.
