Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indiana. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to aid in the diagnostic treatment of illness and injuries.

Responsibilities
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure high-quality images.
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Prepare, perform, and assist physicians in special and advanced procedures, including the administration of contrast media and medications.
  • Help position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program within 6 months of hire date required.
  • One or more of the following certifications required: Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography, or Medical Sonographer.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree required.
Preferred Qualifications

A strong CT background and minimum 3 years post-school hospital experience are preferred. ARRT CT certification and Cardiac CT training are also preferred.
