Overview

CHI Health St. Elizabeth is a full-service medical center specializing in newborn and pediatric care, women's health, burn and wound, cardiology, oncology, emergency medicine, orthopedics, and neuroscience.

Responsibilities

We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus and $10,000 educational assistance to external candidates.

This is a fantastic opportunity for new graduates.

  • Full-time opportunity with a Saturday, Sunday, and Monday schedule from 7:00am to 7:30pm.
  • Properly assess patients and their abilities to participate in ordered procedures.
  • Select the proper equipment, set correct technical factors, and gather necessary supplies prior to performing procedures.
  • Obtain clear and complete patient histories and record that data into patient records to assist in image interpretation and future patient encounters.
  • Evaluate equipment issues and report assessments to supervisors, managers, or directors.
  • Ensure all equipment is in working order at the beginning of the day and prior to starting procedures.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • BLS from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
  • ARRT Board Certified in Radiology.
  • Valid Medical Radiography or General Radiology Technologist Permit to Practice license in Nebraska or Iowa.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Understand methods and perform venipuncture as required.
  • Demonstrate ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be self-motivated and take ownership of projects/assignments.
  • Be a team player with excellent follow-up and customer service skills.
  • Have strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills.
