About the Job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our housekeeping team as a Housekeeping Associate at Residence Inn Tallahassee Universities at the Capitol. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and welcoming.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities;
  • Restocking and replenishing supplies in guest rooms and public areas;
  • Responding promptly to guest requests and resolving any issues that may arise;
  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests by reporting any maintenance or security issues to management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • No prior experience is required, but previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is an asset;
  • The ability to lift up to 55 pounds without assistance and push/pull a loaded housekeeping cart over sloping and uneven surfaces;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
