Senior Cardiac Care Nurse

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cardiac Care Nurse to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiac care unit, you will be responsible for assessing, coordinating, and managing the needs of assigned patients, with a focus on their progress toward discharge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and perform treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and collaborate with the nursing team to create customized patient care plans.
- Provide primary and emergency care for patients, with a focus on compassionate and competent service delivery.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
- At least 2 years of experience in cardiac care nursing.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
