Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking a dedicated Care Provider who will deliver both physical assistance and emotional encouragement to our clients.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to treat our clients and their belongings with utmost dignity, patience, empathy, and respect. This role requires a commitment to understanding and supporting our clients' needs at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct light cleaning duties to maintain a tidy environment,
- Assist with errands, including shopping tasks.
- Provide transportation support, such as accompanying clients to various appointments.
- Remind clients about their medication schedules or assist them with medication management.
- Plan, prepare, and purchase meals, with or without client involvement.
- Support clients with personal hygiene and general daily living activities.
- Engage clients through companionship, conversation, and activities that stimulate and encourage them.
- Respond promptly and responsibly in emergency situations.
- Document and report any unusual occurrences.
Administrative Skills: Basic office tasks including data entry, paperwork updates, document maintenance, and filing as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma is preferred.
- Ability to pass a Criminal Background check.
- Valid Driver's License is preferred.
- Commitment to following health and safety protocols.
- Demonstrated respect and compassion for others.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Strong time management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
