Modular Transportation is seeking experienced CDL A Regional Flatbed Drivers to join our team in West Memphis, AR. As a Regional Flatbed Driver, you will be responsible for hauling steel freight, including coils, tube, sheets, and bar stock, on flatbed trailers. With a strong focus on family and a commitment to excellence, we offer a stable and rewarding work environment.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Average weekly pay: $1,200 to $1,600
  • Additional pay: detention pay, deadhead pay, bonuses for referrals, clean DOT inspections, and monthly bonuses based on truck revenue
  • Paid via direct deposit weekly
Benefits and Perks
  • Company-paid benefits starting after 90 days: medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life insurance, short-term disability insurance, driver legal plan, 401K with company match, 6 paid company holidays, and 5 paid vacation days after 90 days
  • $150/day orientation and training pay
  • Rider program: family member (minimum age 18), pet (dog or cat)
  • Take your truck home policy depending on location
  • No slip seating
Home Time, Route, and Schedule
  • Home time: home weekends
  • Schedule: leave Sunday or Monday, home Friday
  • Route: regional routes primarily within a mile radius of Memphis
  • Level of touch: drivers must secure loads, which may involve tarping, strapping, chaining
Equipment
  • Late-model Mack and Freightliner trucks
  • Primarily automatic transmission with some manual transmission available
  • Governed speed: 69 mph
  • ELD equipped using Samsara system
  • Onboard safety features, including lane departure, cameras, etc.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 23 years old
  • Must have a CDL A license issued from the state in which the driver resides
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 3 years
  • Must be able to lift up to 110 lbs and be able to squat, crouch, and reach as needed to handle freight
  • No DUI, no positive or refusal of drug or alcohol test in the past 5 years
  • Must have a stable work history
  • No cell phone use or reckless driving or 15 mph or greater violations in the last 3 years
  • No major chargeable accidents in the past 3 years while driving a commercial motor vehicle
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
  • Hiring radius: drivers must live in AR, TN, KY, MO, North MS, North AL
