Key Responsibilities- Assist Pharmacists: Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will assist in the practice of pharmacy, including tasks such as retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct, and checking for possible interactions.
- Customer Service: Engage with customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals. Maintain knowledge of Company asset protection techniques and file claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs.
- Training and Development: Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration. Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager and acquire continuing education credits.
- Fluency in English: Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Math Skills: Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
- Computer Skills: Prefer good computer skills.
- PTCB Certification: Prefer PTCB certification.
