Pipe Fitter

Industrial Trade Services is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems, pipe supports, fixtures, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

• Select and install pipe and related materials and equipment, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to job specifications.
• Inspect worksites to determine presence of obstructions and plan installation sequence to avoid them.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipe using various tools and equipment.
• Assemble and install pipes and pipe fittings, using threaded, caulked, soldering, brazen, fused, or cemented joints.
• Secure pipes to structure with bracket, clamps, and hangers, using hand and power tools.
• Test piping systems for leaks and perform minor maintenance tasks.

• High school diploma or equivalent with previous experience in the field.
• Knowledge of piping systems, pipe materials, and related equipment.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor.

Work will be performed in a manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazardous conditions. Respiratory protection may be required.
