In our fraud and forensic investigation and litigation consulting division, you will play a crucial role in our rapidly expanding practice within the Armanino consulting sector. We are a tightly-knit team collaborating with law firms and both private and public entities across diverse engagement types and industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and participating in fraud investigations, forensic inquiries, compliance assessments, and litigation consulting projects.
  • Evaluating and interpreting financial data, accounting records, tax documentation, and court filings to support litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Assisting with litigation discovery processes, including document requests.
  • Leading and significantly contributing to fraud investigations, encompassing embezzlement, financial misrepresentation, Ponzi schemes, healthcare fraud, and other relevant issues.
  • Taking a leadership role in dispute and litigation consulting, addressing partnership conflicts, billing disagreements, real estate issues, post-acquisition disputes, intellectual property conflicts, lost profit assessments, and lost wage evaluations.
  • Supporting business development initiatives by preparing proposals and participating in industry networking events.
  • Ensuring exceptional client service delivery.
  • Proactively mentoring, coaching, and developing team members while actively engaging in the career advisory and performance evaluation processes.
  • Contributing to the cultivation of team culture and an environment conducive to scaling a rapidly growing consulting practice.
  • Building, managing, and sustaining strong relationships with colleagues, existing clients, new clients, referral sources, and industry stakeholders to generate projects.
  • Assisting the business development team with client service delivery or sector-specific expertise.
  • Encouraging a culture of growth and a mindset focused on business development.
  • Delivering high-quality consulting services by managing the overall engagement and client relationship process, which includes client communication, invoicing, collections, budget management, preparing client deliverables, and presenting information to clients, all while meeting Armanino's A+ Execution quality standards.
  • Supervising execution teams, providing project leadership, and adapting to evolving client needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in litigation support, investigation, and forensic accounting services.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and financial modeling.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • Additional credentials related to fraud and forensic investigations, business valuations, and similar areas are advantageous.
