We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Christus Health. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans under the direction of a physician.
- Conduct various technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures, including airway management, ventilator management, and oxygen delivery.
- Monitor and analyze patient data, including blood gas collection and analysis, EKG analysis, and chest film analysis.
- Provide accurate and complete documentation of patient care and treatment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
- 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in critical care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
As a Respiratory Therapist at Christus Health, you will work in a fast-paced hospital setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, including critically ill adults, pediatrics, and neonates.
