Merchandise Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Merchandise Coordinator. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively.

• Customer Experience: Create a positive internal and external customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
• Merchandising and Processing: Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor, and ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Training and Development: Trains and mentors Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, and ensures Associates complete tasks and activities according to store plan.
• Productivity and Organization: Monitors productivity of team and coaches as necessary, and organizes and rotates back stock for easy replenishment.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensures compliance with recycling and, where applicable, hazardous waste programs, and promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.

• Flexibility: Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Communication and Organization: Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Leadership and Teamwork: Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors, and capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Experience: 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
