Prototype Foundry Specialist

The Prototype Foundry Technician will work in a production environment producing turbine blades and vane segments for the aerospace industry. This role will operate equipment, tools, and instruments to manufacture world-class engine parts in a precise and technical environment.

• Follow standard procedures for producing ceramic slurry.
• Prepare wax clusters for dipping.
• Dip assembled clusters of parts.
• Process molds through dewax, fire, and clean and cap.
• Operate equipment for the production of parts.
• Communicate with maintenance and place work orders as needed.
• Understand and apply mold making concepts.
• Control and maintain ceramic slurries.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Computer proficiency with AQCS, basic Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to take lead/ownership of the entire mold area.

• Highly organized and self-motivated individual.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work hands-on with the team to achieve objectives.
• Proven experience in the manufacturing industry.
