Job SummaryThis CVICU RN position is ideal for candidates looking to make a significant impact in the field of cardiac intensive care. As a member of our team, you will be part of an advanced heart care treatment facility recognized for numerous achievements and medical firsts.
Responsibilities- Work in a high-acuity CVICU setting, providing care for cardiac patients
- Manage equipment such as CRRT (Prismax), IABP, Impella, ECMO, and VADs
- Utilize the Cerner EMR system for patient documentation
- Float between CVICU and other ICU units as needed
- Operate with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 to ensure optimal care
- Demonstrate a positive, uplifting attitude and be a hard-working team player
- Participate in care for various cardiac patients, including those recovering from transplant surgeries
- Adhere to facility-provided scrub attire and maintain professional dress code
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience
- Open heart recovery experience within 24 hours
- Hemodynamic (Swan) experience
- ACLS, BLS, NIH certification
