Job Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse Lead, you will be responsible for delivering and overseeing patient care within a specialized clinical area, focusing on specific age groups and patient populations. Your role will involve:
1. Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation to provide comprehensive care.
2. Engaging effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members while upholding professional nursing standards.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess an Associate's degree in Nursing along with one (1) year of RN experience. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and one (1) year of recovery room experience is preferred. Note that work experience cannot substitute for the educational requirement. A current Alabama RN license and CPR certification are mandatory, with ACLS certification required within six months of employment. Membership in The Society of Gastroenterology Nurses Association (SGNA) and PALS certification are preferred.
