We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Medicine team at Northwell Health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine and excellent clinical skills.
Key Responsibilities- Perform initial patient assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians.
- Conduct daily patient rounds and document patient progress.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in New York State.
- Current NCCPA Certification.
- Current BLS certification.
