Metal Fabrication Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to expertly cut and assemble metals and various materials at Source HDD. Your role will involve operating specialized machinery to ensure precise assembly of components, forming the backbone of robust infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and schematics while accurately measuring to strategize layout and processes.
- Select the suitable welding equipment or technique based on project specifications.
- Prepare components for welding in accordance with outlined standards.
- Execute welding tasks using manual or semi-automatic equipment across multiple orientations (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).
- Conduct thorough testing and inspection of welded joints and structures to identify any imperfections.
- Maintain machinery in a safe and efficient working condition.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in welding.
- Proficient in utilizing a variety of welding techniques and equipment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to using protective gear.
- Ability to interpret safety labels, warnings, and guidelines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and vigilance to ensure a safe working environment.
- Capability to follow directions and effectively communicate with team members.
