Pharmacy Technician Certified/ED Med History

As a Pharmacy Technician Certified/ED Med History at LifeBridge Health, you will work collaboratively with pharmacists to prepare medications, screen prescriptions, and supply patients with correctly filled medication orders. This role involves performing tasks related to storage, distribution, packaging, and labeling of drugs, as well as completing associated record keeping and charging activities. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist and participate in performance improvement activities within Pharmacy and with outside departments to identify and rectify problems. Additionally, you will perform one of the specialized functions described in the job description as assigned by management.
Responsibilities:
Prepare medications and supply patients with correctly filled medication orders
Screen prescriptions and perform tasks related to storage, distribution, packaging, and labeling of drugs
Complete associated record keeping and charging activities
Work under the supervision of a pharmacist
Participate in performance improvement activities within Pharmacy and with outside departments
Perform one of the specialized functions described in the job description as assigned by management
Requirements:
Preferred High School Diploma
2-4 years Pharmacy experience Preferred
2-4 years Hospital pharmacy experience Preferred
PTCB - Certified Pharmacy Tech
PTSR - Pharmacy Tech State Registration
