Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at RNGD Prefab in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with expertise in metal fabrication and assembly.

As a Fabrication Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Reading and interpreting shop drawings to determine materials requirements and assembly procedures.
• Laying out components according to specifications, ensuring accurate alignment and placement.
• Assembling structural steel, stairs, and railings according to engineering instructions.
• Using a variety of tools and equipment to measure, cut, bend, and form metal parts.
• Collaborating with welders and shop foreman to ensure that components are properly prepared for welding.
• Conducting quality control checks to ensure the assembly meets the required specifications.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and safety standards.
