Position Overview:
Franciscan Physician Network is in search of a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist specializing in Electrophysiology. This role is pivotal in our expanding cardiology practice, which is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.


Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will possess imaging expertise and a commitment to clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential, along with a desire to cultivate strong relationships within the community and among existing medical staff. Collaboration with fellow physicians and staff within the Cardiology service line is crucial to ensure the highest quality of patient care.


Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with a hospital rotation of 1:2.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Imaging experience
  • Average outpatient clinic volume: patients per day
  • Average inpatient volume: varies


Advanced Facilities:
Our state-of-the-art laboratories are equipped with:

  • Biosense Webster Cartosound Mapping system with GE recording system, enabling cryoballoon procedures


Procedural Expertise:
The candidate will perform a variety of procedures, including:

  • Permanent Pacemaker implants
  • Pacemaker Lead extractions
  • Leadless Pacemaker implants
  • ICD implants
  • Left Atrial Appendage Closure
  • Ablations: Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, SVT, VT Cryoablation
  • Collaborative Covergent procedures with cardiovascular surgeons

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate - Required
  • Physician License (MD/DO) - Required upon hire
  • Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility) - Required upon hire
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required upon hire


Travel Requirements:
Minimal travel is expected for this position.
