Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at UCHealth. As a key member of our surgical unit, you will provide top-notch patient care and contribute to a safe and quality environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a highly acute setting, utilizing the nursing process to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Model proficiency through precepting new staff members and contributing to the development of evidence-based care models.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care nursing, preferably in a surgical or med-surg setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
