About the Role

Pentair Management Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at our Moorpark, CA facility. As a key member of our Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing automated machinery and computer-controlled mechanical systems in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair automated machinery and computer-controlled mechanical systems in an industrial setting.
  • Operate, diagnose, analyze, and repair industrial equipment such as hot oil units, vacuums, conveyors, epoxy dispensing machines, IM presses, and other production equipment.
  • Program robots using software or interactive programming techniques to perform simple or complex tasks.
  • Perform robot PMs, troubleshoot failures, and implement repairs.
  • Assist with basic electronics/programmable Logic Controls troubleshooting (PLC).
  • Close Work Orders and PMs with appropriate data (labor hours, downtime, problem/cause/remedy, and parts used in CMMS).
  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repairs of different types of production equipment and ensure uptime/efficiency.
  • Interpret electrical prints and schematics.
  • Install electrical equipment and circuit modifications.
  • Analyze electro-mechanical devices, troubleshoot failures, and implement repairs.
  • Assist with the development and training of Techs I.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years related work experience as an industrial electrician.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing plant environment.
  • Injection Molding experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Steel-toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills, inclusive of exercising good judgment.

  • Anticipated hourly pay range: $38.50.
  • 11 paid holidays each year.
  • 2 weeks of paid vacation to start (accrued weekly) and prorated based on hire date.
