Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to deliver efficient and effective nursing care. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, administering medications, performing treatments, and supervising unlicensed staff. The LPN will also contribute to nursing assessments and care planning, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care possible.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing and currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing. You must also maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $28.00-$31.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to your hourly wage, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
