Hematology Oncology Advanced Practitioner

St. Luke's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practitioner to join our Hematology Oncology team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of clinical management guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical evaluation, treatment, counseling, and referrals to patients under the supervision of, and/or in collaboration with, the attending physician.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations, therapeutic remediation, surgical assistance, and pharmaceutical prescription.
  • Participate in patient satisfaction, quality, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with public and mental health agencies, as appropriate, to coordinate patient care and family counseling.
  • Teach wellness habits and educate patients on prevention of potential health problems or method of dealing with present problems.
Requirements:
  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Medical Physician Assistant with current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
  • Experienced AP with Oncology experience strongly preferred.
