Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive care to patients before, during, and after procedures, providing physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct appropriate assessments and apply intervention skills in all nursing care interactions.
  • Document care in a timely and complete manner, utilizing computer charting effectively.
  • Manage a multitask workload, prioritizing care for multiple patients.
  • Proficiently triage patients and maintain excellent assessment skills to evaluate responses to treatments.
  • Adapt quickly to changing situations and develop care plans to meet urgent patient needs.
  • Educate patients, identify barriers to learning, and provide counseling on health behaviors.
  • Collect specimens and perform moderately complex testing in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain and document instrument functionality, performing quality control as required.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • Current New Hampshire RN license or Compact License.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Cath Lab and Interventional settings preferred.
