Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Admin Coordinator to join our team at Marshalls Store 1050. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a positive internal and external customer experience
  • Promote a culture of honesty and integrity; maintain confidentiality
  • Take an active role in the hiring process and in the onboarding process of new Associates
  • Maintain Associate personnel files
  • Perform daily cash office functions and maintain cash office standards
  • Support Operations Assistant Store Manager with scheduling, expense account monitoring, supply inventory and requisition
  • Maintain proper Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience
  • Support and respond to coverage needs throughout the store
  • Ensure store team executes tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritize as needed
  • Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provide progress updates
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback
  • Partner with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs
  • Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs
  • Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment
Requirements
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Capable of multi-tasking
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
  • Able to train others
  • 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience

This position has a starting pay range of $15.35 to $15.85 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
