Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal hygiene assistance as required, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, undressing, toileting, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, and light housekeeping.
- Monitor and document vital signs, as well as height and weight, when necessary.
- Support patients in both active and passive range of motion exercises as outlined in their care plan, noting any changes and reporting them to the Director of Nursing.
- Assist clients with mobility, outdoor activities, and other physical engagements.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for quality patient care by adhering to established policies, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of a certified nursing assistant program.
- Current certification as a CNA or relevant experience as a Home Health Aide.
- CPR certification and a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
- A minimum of one (1) year of documented experience is essential.
- Compliance with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
