Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a licensed Speech Therapist to join our team as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant in a school district near the New Bedford area. As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide support in conducting speech and language assessments, implementing therapeutic activities, and monitoring student progress.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting speech and language assessments under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Implement therapeutic activities and exercises designed by the supervising SLP.
  • Provide direct support during individual or small group speech therapy sessions.
  • Monitor and document student progress and behavior during therapy sessions.
  • Assist in preparing materials and resources for speech therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support the integration of speech and language goals into classroom activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student information and records.
