Line Cook Job Description

Miles, The Prince is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and executing our menu with precision and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist our chefs in preparing and executing menu items with attention to detail and quality.
  • Learn and master various kitchen stations, including garde manger, grill, sauté, and pastry.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Support other kitchen areas as needed and be willing to assist teammates in the kitchen.
  • Maintain a clean workstation and adhere to all health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of relevant restaurant or culinary experience preferred.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to take direction from chefs and adapt to new systems and procedures.
  • Physical requirements include lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, standing, and walking for extended periods.
  • Food handlers license preferred.
