Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Inclusive Education Specialist to join our team at Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified. This role is essential in providing tailored educational support to students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Submit a copy of your academic transcripts (both undergraduate and graduate levels).
  • Provide a copy of your teaching credential, ensuring it displays the document number and current expiration date.
  • Include your English Learner Authorization, with a clear indication of the document number and expiration date.
  • Prepare a Letter of Introduction that outlines your teaching philosophy and approach.
  • Gather three recent Letters of Recommendation, each with original signatures.
  • Attach a copy of your CSET exam results.
  • Present your resume detailing your educational background and professional experience.
  • Include test results or materials from the CBEST or an equivalent basic skills examination.
  • Provide a Crosscultural, Language and Academic Development Certificate or an equivalent English Learner authorization, which may be included in your California credential.
  • Possess an Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Mild/Moderate with an added authorization for Autism Spectrum Disorders, or an Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Moderate/Severe.
