Position Overview
As a Junior Escrow Officer, you will provide essential escrow services for various real estate transactions, including residential and commercial sales, new developments, refinancing, relocations, and timeshares. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring a seamless closing process through exceptional customer service and proactive communication with all parties involved.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage real estate transactions by setting up new escrow accounts, overseeing funds, processing closing documents, and finalizing settlements in line with established guidelines.
- Act as a neutral intermediary among involved parties, ensuring adherence to company policies while managing and mitigating risks.
- Understand the integration of your team with related departments to achieve common goals.
- Contribute to the team's quality, efficiency, and effectiveness through your individual efforts.
- Identify and resolve uncommon issues that may arise during transactions.
- Communicate complex information clearly, highlighting interdependencies within the team and with other departments.
- Work independently with limited supervision, utilizing discretion to enhance work practices and processes.
- Serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues, although this role does not include supervisory duties.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
A high school diploma is required, while a bachelor's degree is preferred. Typically, candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience.
