Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team at Onsite Women's Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality digital mammography and breast ultrasound procedures to detect breast cancers and lesions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform digital mammography and breast ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and reducing anxieties to ensure patient cooperation.
  • Adjust equipment settings and controls to optimize image quality, adhering to radiographic exposure techniques and protocols.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices and patient shielding skills to minimize exposure.
  • Ensure equipment is in proper working order, performing routine quality assurance testing to comply with MQSA, ACR, and state regulations.
  • Examine digital images for quality, maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
  • Process routine paperwork and data entry, participating in professional development activities and maintaining affiliations with relevant organizations.
Requirements
  • ARRT certification required.
  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in mammography.
  • Valid state license, if applicable.
  • Self-starter with strong patient-centric skills, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Computer literacy and ability to multitask.
