We are seeking a highly qualified faculty member to join our team in the Department of Neurology and Pediatrics at the University of Virginia. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neurodevelopmental science and a proven track record of research accomplishments.
Research OpportunitiesThe University of Virginia is committed to advancing our understanding of brain development and function. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the discovery and characterization of early biomarkers of intellectual disabilities, understanding how perinatal experiences impact early brain development, and developing early interventions to mitigate the negative impact of prematurity and the NICU environment on brain development.
QualificationsCandidates must have an MD, DO, PhD, MD/PhD, or DO/PhD. Clinicians will be expected to be board-eligible or board-certified and provide clinical care to children within their specialty of pediatric neurology, neurodevelopmental disabilities, developmental behavioral pediatrics, or neonatology.
