We are seeking a seasoned Functional Architect specializing in SAP SD. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with SAP SD and a proven track record in SAP SD implementations. The role requires the ability to work autonomously within a factory model and perform the following tasks:

  • Draft user requirements and configure the system accordingly.
  • Collaborate effectively in an onsite/offshore team environment to achieve project goals.
  • Engage with SAP for OSS messages and support.

Key Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Sales Distribution (SD) and Logistics Execution (LE) configuration, focusing on order processing, deliveries, shipments, and billing.
  • At least one complete end-to-end implementation experience with SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Familiarity with SAP modules, particularly Sales and Distribution (SD), with some knowledge in Supply (MM, PP, QM) and Finance (FI/CO).
  • Proficient in SAP S/4 HANA and aware of cross-functional interactions with MM, IM, and FI/CO.
  • Experience integrating SAP SD/LE with SAP TM and SAP EWM Modules.
  • Desirable experience in the PHARMA industry and knowledge of local processes in Italy and Switzerland.
  • Strong expertise in pricing configuration within the SAP SD Module, including order types, contract management, and billing.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA topics such as BRF+ and ARM.
  • Experience in template adaptation and process addition.
  • Proficient in integrating with third-party logistics (3PL) systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing interfaces with non-SAP applications.
  • Knowledge of SAP technologies including EDI, file transfer, and APIs.
  • Involvement in various aspects of O2C project implementation, rollout, and support.
  • Ability to lead multiple project activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Capable of diagnosing technical issues and providing effective solutions.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Work independently to drive requirement gathering workshops and prepare design and functional specification documents.
  • Configure the system to meet specified requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively in an onsite/offshore team model to deliver results.
  • Maintain good communication skills, both verbal and written, to document necessary information.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills and effectively manage team dynamics.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
