About the Role

The Providencia Group is seeking a highly skilled Unification Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Program Director, Unification Manager, and other stakeholders to facilitate the reunification of unaccompanied child refugees with their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and maintain direct contact with unaccompanied child refugees and their family members to facilitate reunification
  • Communicate reunification updates to minors and their families
  • Participate in case staffing to discuss reunification progress
  • Facilitate the timely release or discharge of minors to identified family members or authorized caregivers
  • Document all interactions and services provided in the minor's case file
  • Report significant incidents in accordance with client policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in case management or a related field
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
