The Clinical Nurse I is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the healthcare team in preventing illness and injury, maintaining wellness, and providing comfort to patients.
- Deliver and accurately document direct, age-specific care to patients based on medical orders and an integrated, multidisciplinary plan of care.
- Safely administer prescribed medications, identifying incompatibilities and/or interactions.
- Provide direction, education, and begin to acquire leadership skills at the unit level.
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state.
- AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent.
- 12 to 24 months RN experience.
- Experience as an LPN, nursing assistant, or care partner in an acute care setting or applicable area of practice.
- Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program recognized and/or approved by the corresponding state's Board of Nursing.
- Work all three shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Individual shift rotation and schedules will be established with your specific Nurse Manager/Practice Manager.
- Lifting 20-50 lbs.
- Exposure to potentially hazardous and infectious substances.
- Strong recall, reasoning, problem-solving, hearing, speaking clearly, writing legibly, reading, and logical thinking.
- Fast-paced environment, steady pace, able to handle multiple priorities, frequent and intense customer interactions, and noisy environment.
