Key Responsibilities:

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will assist the Maintenance Manager by delivering maintenance support to ensure high levels of productivity, quality, and safety. This role emphasizes conducting Preventative Maintenance on equipment and general upkeep of the facility.

Core Duties:

  • Ensure production machinery and equipment operate safely and effectively to protect all personnel and visitors.
  • Continuously monitor production and process equipment for optimal performance.
  • Execute preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery based on blueprints, technical manuals, or vendor specifications, collaborating with production team members.
  • Identify and implement necessary adjustments to various manufacturing machine systems.
  • Assist in the installation, testing, and validation of new machinery and equipment.
  • Participate in equipment changeovers as required.
  • Alert management to any potential machinery issues or abnormalities observed.
  • Maintain organization within the Maintenance Area and any other locations where repair work is conducted.
  • Perform routine maintenance on both the interior and exterior of the building.
  • Keep a detailed schedule of maintenance activities and upcoming service requirements.
  • Work safely and recognize unsafe conditions, taking appropriate actions to ensure the safety of oneself and others.
  • Conduct welding on various equipment as necessary.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
  • Stay updated on all OSHA regulations and requirements.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned, including general housekeeping duties.
