Job Summary

The Imaging Services department at WakeMed is equipped with state-of-the-art computerized tomography equipment, and our CAT Scan Technologists play a critical role in providing high-quality images of designated portions of the body under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Accomplish patient care in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner
  • Provide quality images of designated portions of the body
  • Work under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures

Requirements

  • Clinical experience in radiology required
  • Graduate degree in radiologic technology or nuclear medicine required
  • Registered technologist for radiography, registered technologist in nuclear medicine technology, and registered technologist in computed tomography required
