Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian I to join our team at ACCESS (MI). As a key member of our nutrition team, you will play a critical role in providing nutritional counseling to low-income women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk.
Key Responsibilities- Nutrition Assessments: Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments on clients and develop personalized nutrition care plans to address their specific needs.
- Client Advocacy: Serve as a client advocate, coordinating care and providing support to clients as needed.
- Nutrition Education: Provide nutrition education to individual clients and groups, developing educational materials that cater to the needs of diverse populations.
- Program Development: Plan and conduct food service and nutritional programs to promote health and prevent disease.
- Documentation: Accurately document health, social, and nutritional risk factors, as well as services provided to clients.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in nutrition, dietetics, or a related health field.
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification, or eligibility to become registered within six months.
- Hours: Normal business hours, with occasional additional hours required.
- Travel: Local and in-state travel, up to 25%.
