Conventional Driver

Job Summary:

To deliver products to stores and supermarkets on your assigned route in a safe and efficient manner. Contribute to the company's sales objectives by transporting goods on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain daily routing information, stops, and customer billing.
• Organize your route to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Transport goods to customers and unload products from the truck.
• Merchandise products where required.
• Collect payments from customers as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• 6 months of commercial truck driving experience, including standard transmission (if applicable).
• Maintain a valid Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Meet all qualifications as defined under DOT Regulation 49 CFR.
• Be knowledgeable of FMCSA regulations.
• Meet Company Driver MVR Qualification Standards.
• Be experienced with working with a Pallet Jack, Store Dolly, and Store Jacks.
• Related training or certification.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Proficiency with office equipment, including computers, hand-held devices, phones, fax machines, copiers, and calculators.

Working Conditions:

Travel to and from customer accounts, working in interior and exterior environments.

Physical Demands:

• Lift and carry objects weighing 12lbs or less occasionally, 13-25lbs frequently, 26-40lbs frequently, and 41-100lbs frequently.
• Push and pull objects weighing 12lbs or less frequently, 13-25lbs frequently, 26-40lbs frequently, and 41-100lbs frequently.
• Perform other physical tasks, such as bending, squatting, twisting, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, and typing.
