Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' physical conditions, mobility, and functional abilities to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their needs.
  • Create and implement personalized therapy programs that address specific goals, improve mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance overall physical function.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
  • Regularly assess and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety measures, and home care strategies to support ongoing recovery and maintenance.
  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and address any issues that may impact patient progress.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred, but not required.
