**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech and language services to students, focusing on assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families to promote student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans and deliver therapy services to address individual student needs effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school administrators to integrate speech and language goals into educational plans and daily activities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
  • Provide training and support to teachers and parents on strategies to enhance speech and language development.
  • Stay informed about current research and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Maryland State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) certification to work in public schools.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings preferred.

Experience:

  • Prior experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, particularly in school settings, is advantageous.
  • Experience with diverse student populations and a variety of speech and language disorders is beneficial.
