Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System is seeking a skilled Cardiac Ultrasonographer to join our team.

We are looking for a highly experienced and certified Cardiac Ultrasonographer to perform diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate, and record critical physiological, pathological, and anatomical data. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in ultrasound theory and be able to operate all standard ultrasound equipment.

• Perform high-quality neonatal, pediatric, and adult cardiac Echocardiogram examinations in a prudent and efficient manner.
• Maintain examination records and generate accurate reports for administration and other operating areas as needed.
• Provide compassionate and dignified patient care by assisting in patient transfer to examination area and positioning of table, and by providing care to the patient following procedure completion.
• Evaluate patients to ensure that they are examined safely without harm or further injury to the patient.
• Operate equipment and perform job-related duties in a safe manner.
• Prepare patient for examination by explaining procedure, providing instructions, and obtaining clinical history and consent.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers, peers, and Director, and act as a communication link between staff and other care providers.

• Graduate from an accredited school of sonography or completion of an ultrasound program.
• Active and unrestricted A.R.D.M.S certification OR CCI-RCS, 2 Specialty Registries.
• Basic Life Support, BLS - HCP.
